Alain Ernoult

Alain Ernoult is an adventurer. He travels around the world without ever going around in circles. Always open to evoke emotions, vibrations through capturing the light, a moment in time, and blending color for us to enjoy.

With his head in the clouds, his feet on the ground and his heart on his sleeve, Alain explores the unknown and unexpected reality. He is there, on the lookout, for an opportunity to spread his wings to fly away, with the promise of a colorful return.

Ernoult’s name has acquired an international reputation, thanks to his cooperation with magazines like Paris Match, Life, Stern, Time and National Geographic... When the brief is to take breathtaking shots, he is one of the world’s top photographers, He has published over 15,000 pages in the international press, 400 pages Paris-Match. Alain Ernoult has been awarded with more than 100 international prizes including first prize in the World Press Photo Contest, and in his own country, France, has obtained the rank of “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite”and “Officer of the National Order of Merit” by his government.

He is the author of 26 books. The insatiable globe-trotter is also a nature lover, as his last series of pictures on environment will show.

Alain Ernoult has always been passionate about wildlife photography. About ten years ago, he took a decisive turn in his career by choosing to devote his art to the preservation of spaces and species threatened with extinction. His creations, which are now exhibited throughout the world, are cries of alarm and appeals for awareness of the need to respect natural balances and to be ever more moved by the beauty of the world.
